Hacking Need advice on hacking my ps3 super slim

i dont have my ps3 with me right now and need to find my ps3 controller. i read that i need a ps3 controller for this to work. can i do this with a ps4 controller?
so i read that ALL super slim are now semi hackable. i just want to confirm if this is true?

Yes, you can hack any console using HEN, all needed tutorials are on PSX-Place. iirc you can use a PS4 controller on a PS3 using an usb cable

I can even use a generic PC game controller on my PS3 Super Slim, O and X are inverted but It works
