What about smash hax and the ds flashcard method of oothax? Do those work on 11?

Ok it was likely 9.2. but as long as you werent being thrown errors during downgrade it should've been fine

There were no errors in the downgrade, but due to an "unknown error" as it said on the tutorial for CFW, it can fail and soft-brick.

which can be prevented by formatting prior to downgrading. no use crying over spilt milk, I guess.

OoThax is highly unstable due to the ASLR patch not being implemented yet.

You can also restore nand Backup if you had sudokuhax installed on 9.2!

I've been given the "Unknown Error" Screen several times when I've tried downgrading and it usually just ends up being a Frakenware

Yup. Don't know if I would have wanted to format though, that would mean losing data which the tutorial said I wouldn't have if I did it right.

You can backup everything except for Streetpass, Mii Plaza and friends code/friends list with SVDT.

An alternative is to system transfer to another 3ds (but not old->new), perform all the steps, and system transfer back once finished.

Interesting. Might try that if I get the chance to do it again.

EDIT: Well since all I have is an old and new, this might not work actually.
