Hey new to the club here.
I've done some pretty intense googling and cant seem to find a fix.

I have a 2gb miniSD everything works perfect.

Purchased an 8gb mini SDHC. Everything appears to work except NDS roms. It creates the save files and loads the rom, the bar gets to approx 80% and stops. The loading squares continue to rotate as if it's loading but the bar never budges and the rom does not boot up.

I have tried a few things.

-Format, and install everything fresh to the root - NDS roms do not load.
-Format, and install Menu to root, NDS roms to GAMES folder - NDS rom does not load
-Format and directly transfer fully operational files from 2gb to 8gb card - NDS rom doe not load

Emulators, mooshell, DS organize, apps etc are fully functional on both cards, The only thing that doesnt work is NDS roms on the 8gb. They all stop loading at about 80%

Thoughts? lol

I should also point out when standing in front of my sd memory selection there was a Kingston and Hewlett packard choice and being in a recession and all I chose the cheaper HP card over the higher end Kingston.

I have an issue on Team SDHC: ROMs take 10 minutes to load.
it's depend of the "Access Time" speed...

More the capacity is big, more the Access time is slow!

He did not say what type of card he is using for his micro SD chip ?

If you have an R4 original with YSMenu then it can not take any-think bigger then a 2GB micro SD chip - are a "non" sdhc 4GB micro SD

But you did mention your 2GB microSD worked...

if you have an DSTT then forget what i have mentioned

DSTT....

So I returned the 8GB SDHC and instead got a smaller 2gb micro SD. I now have two 2 gb micro sd

Now the games appear to load all the way to 100% and then the screen goes black (or white) as if the rom is booting up and then thats it. They just don't boot up.

Everything works on one card but not the other.

Download RetroGameFan's firmware here http://filetrip.net/f23684-RetroGameFan-Mu...-6-46-6-46.html and unpack it.
Open Extras folder and unpack "Panasonic SD Formatter" and install it. Then open it and format with these options:

-Full Format(Flash Erase ON), Format Size Adjustment ON

Then transfers the files under DSTTi (TTMENU) [or something like that] to the root of the card.

It works with both microSD & microSDHC and makes the loading faster !!!

Hope it works!!!
