Misc NDS homebrew wifi help

I know this problem has comeup many, many times but i just can't find any solutions.


specs:

d-link wireless g router with wep enabled

original ds "fat" bought on release

R4 DS latest version

ptoblem:

nds weather, ds quake, beup, etc. all fail at the connecting process; a message appears hat is usually "could not connect to AP", or just "cannot connect"

after configuring my DS's wifi from metroid prime hunters (commercial) the game still won't run.

unfortunatley the only soultion i keep finding is the commercial configuring solution.

Help is MUCH appreciated! I need to try out wifi quake!

Try setting your router's Basic Rate to 1-2 Mbps, I find that usually allows homebrew to connect, while commercial games will connect no matter what.

after a quick search; I think you're correct; but any suggestions on how to change the router's basic rate?
