I am having an issue running some GBA games for some games I attempt to play the bottom screen goes black and the top screen shows the DStwo menu screen. Also for some games like sonic advance I start the game and these bars go across the screen. I can play the game if I do a soft reset but do I have to do this every time I want to play, is there a fix so I don't have to do this every time?

Its called DSTWO GBA from the SuperCard website and it was last updated on 10-22-2010. Is there a possibility of an update in the near future for better stability with GBA games?

Don't use that one since it's broken and doesn't work with the old files.
Pretty much they didn't fix anything
Use the other one, which you can download; here
And you need to download the game_config.txt
And put in the NDSGBA folder and that will help a lot with the compatibility.

Try to use version 1.21 with game_config.txt

just fyi, when u download game_config.txt it will have a bunch of numbers at the beginning, you need to delete those so it's just "game_config.txt" and extract it to the NDSGBA folder

Where do I put the "game_config.txt" file? I added it in the root of the NDS-GBA file and my games are still not operating properly. Im having this issue mostly with the Classic NES Series games. Are they just not possible to work with the GBA emulator? Sonic advance is still broken without soft resetting I dont think this update did anything for me. Thanks anyways guys.

You have it in the right place and none of those games will work, you are better off playing the nes versions on NesDS
And every emulator has problems with the Sonic Advance games.

best thing to do is buy a eazyflash 3 in 1 to play all gba games perfect and cost 20$ its way better then emu.dstwo is a bomb cart if they fix arcade emu thats all why im getting a order on friday to play arcade .......hope they update to play donkey kong 2 jumpman its called.order one up and play all gba games perfect

Thanks Sausage Head for the list. I hope they do update this emulator though I really do enjoy the sonic advance games the most.

The NES Classics don't even work on some flashcarts, at least not as is.

From the FAQ for the EFA flashcart
QUOTEDoes EFA work with the Famicom Mini or Classic NES series games.
Not directly. These ROMs also do not work on VisualBoyAdvance. However, there are ROM files available on the Internet that provide all of the Famicom Mini and Classic NES series games in two GBA ROMs that work just fine on the EFA.
