twlnand doesn't have a whole lot of space in it (1,054 blocks = 134,912,000 bytes), if you're installing a lot of dsiware you can easily reach that limit. You can move your dsiware to SD card when not in use to free up space for more, but keep in mind that they cannot be played when on SD. You'll have to keep swapping apps back and forth between nand and sd when you need them.
 
If your console is modified with CFW you can also install as many DS and DSiWare (NDS Format) titles as you like on the SD card and play them using TWiLight Menu++. Without having to worry about title, menu and space limits.
