I once saw a very old flashcard that came with a special adapter that looked like an SD Reader. It seemed to be used to transfer files from the computer to the flashcard, but i can't find it for the life of me!

Maybe you mean a connector for the N-card? Like this one:

Neoflash's SMS2 I think can dump NDS games and is hardware. It looks a little like an SD card reader, and costs about $50 from memory. Couldn't be bothered finding a link for you

Meh...I don't know. It's Neoflash's Official Shop, but I think it was last updated in 2008?

hmm... do you know where i can buy it? In amazon?
A bit late but, I got mine here flashlinker-shop it's in Germany and uses paypal for payment.

I have seen this recommended after buying SMS2 Modchipstore I don't know much more about it.

I actually only received the SMS2 today, and I haven't figured why I can''t make the backup I made to work on the DSI.

Hope it helps you
