Homebrew Question NCA to NSP

I have a modded version of Pokemon Sword in the form of a bunch of NCA files, and I want to convert it to an NSP so it's playable. I've used multiple methods, but the NSP created doesn't have any metadata, and is unable to boot. I really hope this is possible, I don't want to let my friend down. Anything I can do?

Rather than making a nsp you could diff the modded files with the official ncas to see which ones have been edited, extract the content with hactool, then use layered FS to load them on a unmodified install.
Not quite sure what that means, and layeredFS seems to mainly work on physical hardware, I was looking to do this on yuzu.

Yuzu supports layeredfs https://yuzu-emu.org/help/feature/game-modding/
I'm not sure what the fastest way to diff the files is but once you identify which files have been modified you can use a program called hactool to extract the files from the modified NCA which can then be used in layeredfs. https://gbatemp.net/threads/how-to-extract-romfs-and-exefs-using-hactool.522489/

There's an issue with LayeredFS that makes weather not render at all in Pokemon Sword/Shield, im hoping for a way around that.
