ROM Hack Narctool help needed

I downloaded narctool 02c from dexter0's site, but I don't know how to use it. Any help?

Get NARCExplorer. Works on most NARCs.

Does not work with ones marked .7z or the nameless ones in Pokemon Diamond and Pearl.

Shame Treeki hasn't added D/P support yet, since people on another site have requested it (and he offered). I'll e-mail him and see if I can get him to, either for free, or pay.

Don't worry. I'll ask him myself. I know he's willing to do it without payment. That's something I'm sure of.

I don't know if you heard about his new editor he's working on. It's basically going to be an all in one DS tool with game specific plugins. I'm pretty sure NARCtool will be included with it along with the Diamond and Pearl update aswell.

As long as it's got support for extracting the data from all NARCs, I'm happy. Particularly if it supports the archive formats used in Animal Crossing: Wild World Rom.

Does he have any beta out yet?

EDIT: Got a hacked Narctool at http://www.pipian.com/stuffforchat/narctool-0.1-p.zip . It has support for D/P Roms, but I don't know how to use it. Any help?

I'm pretty sure you extract the NARC then drop it into the .exe and out should pop an extracted NARC. I don't think it compiles though.
Let me look into AC:WW. I'm pretty sure i just uses NARC which would allow it to work with NARCexplorer.

It uses different archive types...none of which are NARC, sadly...

.NSBCA
.NSBTX

And a few more, but those are just off the top of my head...

These are not archives, but rather separate files.

That's an archive. I'm not sure if there are tools for it though since I've never messed with that format. I think there are though since I keep hearing about them with Metroid Prime Hunters hacking.
