Hello guys,

Today I found out that Vita has updated N64 emulator which works almost perfectly and was updated maybe few weeks ago. But unfortunately, couldn't found out the name of the emulator. Anyone using it could suggest it to me?

Currently I know only for retroarch and daedalus x64. I'm interested into playing only 64 titles, so any recommendation and which between these two is better for playing 64 on the go?

Mmm your questions are somewhat confusing. You state that you can't find the emulator's name, but then you say the name of said emulator, then you ask which should you use. What are you asking for exactly?

I know for two of them, and both of them aren't really that good. They have only few compatible games and most of them do not even run smooth.

Here is the source saying about good N64 emulator:

I'm wondering if he's using some different one which is working really good

Alright, I'm going to give another try to daedalus x64. Do I need to configurate settings before playing it or it is ready to go?

Daedalus x64 by Rinne

Maybe you are running the emulator through the "virtual" PSP. A new version that runs natively on the vita has been released, the link was posted some posts above.

Deadalus x64 is Just released a few months ago and they are still working hard on it.
Of course you won't be able to play the heavy games like Rogue Squadron don't forget that some games only started to run great(ish) on pc emulators a few years ago.

I think Rinne is focused on getting most games playable, not to get it working with everything that's out there.
