Hi. Several days ago, I opened my 3DS after having left it in standby with MHGen running. The game played for a few more frames before I got the BSOD. Until recently, I haven't been able to get anything other than the BSOD when turning it on, however when using the LRAPower boot it ran fine, and I was able to check for updates (it was already updated). A few minutes ago, I was able to boot it on my home screen, and turn off the wireless (I had heard the wireless card can come loose and cause a BSOD), and I was able to boot a game and play for a few minutes before it crashed again. I tested without my SD card, no difference.

Any ideas guys? Warranty is out obviously, looking at a $80 repair from NOA, not sure how much I could get for a replacement system, or if my system is worth repairing by hand.

Can you take a picture of this so called Black Screens of Death? If you get error messages, that's not BSoD btw.

Sorry about that! You're correct, it's just the regular error message. Haven't actually been able to get it to show up for a while, but I know it's just a matter of time.
