turn it off, remove battery,
and place it in a bag of dry rice for maybe 1-2 nights,
that should give it time to allow the rice to suck out the moisture.

Silica gels instead of rice. Trust me, I'm Asian, we know rice.
Put them in zip lock filled with silica gels, you can get them from a variety of packaging you bought in the past, like shoes and stuff, well if you keep them. You can also buy them.

First thing you should is always turn off the electronic if it's still on. I hope that you learned the ZR wasn't working because it was already on and not because you turned it on...

Rice is an option if you don't have silica gels like @Nirmonculus suggested.

My phone can still connect to WiFi and BT as well as receive phone calls in all microwaves I've tried to put it in. :D
Your microwave is leaking radiation every time you turn it on XD. You need that shit replaced as soon as possible. If you're able to get reception in it, it's a faulty microwave.

Yah, just like you put your 3ds in the microwave oven if you don't want it to connect to the Internet!

These things sound stupid but work.

well, I was not ironical about this. Once I told friend to do it with phone when he accidentaly drop it to toilet. He was like wtf and then he just cooked a bowl of rice and put phone in it.

rice dont really suck out moisture, leave it on top of a central heating radiator with the battery removed for a few days after shaking off as much moisture as you can. You may have to replace the zr button ribbon but there may be a short on the board. If your confident in opening it up do that and dry it off faster, you can the try disconnecting the R ribbon and double check it stops switching to last page.
