But, if you watch the video the boot looks so clean with just black :D!
Lol yeah, but it would be so awesome to get lets say an 3 rxTools images and make something like loading 25%, 50%, 100% and whatnot or when it fails something like loading failed please restart your device. It would be way more interactive and "user friendly" :D

Long. All what I want is a slick progress bar which starts on the top screen as menuhax splash, continues on the bottom screen as a series of static images instead of the colors, then reaches 100% as a Reinand splash screen.
That would be nice actualy. Again, nothing wrong with options.

the actual colour flashes stage is probably like 3 seconds of the whole boot process, that would be 1 rapid fire loading bar, most of the wait is the actual booting up and booting into emunand, imo it would look kinda stupid having a random loading bar flash up for a few seconds halfway through only to disappear again for another 5 seconds

I think the point is that, if the loading bar stops for more than 0.5s (yellow screen), then you know you gotta hard reset. It serves that purpose and it's also more nice to the eye. That's what I understand anyway

Is it even posible to replace each color screen individualy? I don't understand the code(or w/e it is) posted earlier, so I'm a bit lost

yeah, as @ihaveamac said trying to replace the colors with pictures etc is a bit out of his area of expertise, he did say he will try changing the yellow to dark blue, that way if it crashes you will know, but if it doesn't you will probably not even notice as during a normal bootup the yellow only flashes for a split second

@ihaveamac

Looks like everyone is really happy with the changes you made (including myself)

Do you have any plans to develop this any further ?

Some have discussed status bars and other things

Just curious and thanks for what you did so far

I'm really not a C or anything developer, I can just recognize patterns and modify existing code based on that. sorry

Honestly, I'd rather have the entire boot go with the standard "Nintendo (3DS model)" on top screen, black bottom screen and when it crashes it brings up the error it uses for everything else that goes something like "An error has occurred. Please hold the power button to turn the console off." or something.

I like the idea of changing the colours, as has been suggested something like a progress bar would be nice

Sadly i would have no idea how to do it and i have a feeling that those that could are not really interested
Would be great if we could turn it into a slideshow..lol each color a different image. By the way I HATE progress bars..lol
