Hardware N2DSXL D-Pad Up not as responsive

Heyo, I purchased my n2dsxl tonight and after I setup hacks and all that, I notice that the up on the d-pad isn't as responsive as the other directions are. It's not too bad of an issue, but it requires me to use a bit more force than usual, and I was wondering if I was a closed case compared to everyone else's experience. If anyone else has the same issue, go ahead and post here.

That shouldnt be the issue, remove the hacks and replace the console while you can.

this happened to my psp once. turns out the dpad was slightly mis-aligned at the top. try pushing down and rotating around the dpad. do this in both directions firmly. try again and see if it works.

I went ahead and fiddled around and it began to respond properly! Thanks for the tip, it's back to normal for now.
