Hacking N-Card Mouse and Controller

I just found out that you can use the N-Card(with writer plugged in) as a mouse. Also as a controller. I am currently playing Contra 3 on Snes9x. Its so cool

Those are the only two made specifically for the N-card/its clones
(by using the USB functionality) but there are other pieces of homebrew where you can use your DS as a wireless gamepad through wifi.

Could the N-card one work with the GBA as well? I doubt it, but that'd be cool.
