I just started working on MyM again, and it is like 90% done now (just needs UI tweaks). However, I'm not going to release it to anybody but the WADder staff (that I know and trust) as I am currently pissed off at being banned from like 75% of the wii-related IRC channels (#Softmii, #Softmii-dev, #wiidev, #hackmii, #0RANGECHiCKEN, #etc). If you guys (meaning all the owners of Wii IRC Channels) want to let me in, maybe I will be in a better mood and hand it over :shock: .

You're seriously going to take your own app hostage? One that it appears most people are unaware of what it even is? Check your ego. If you're not going to release it, then don't release it. I don't think you need to announce to everybody that has nothing to do with your personal drama that you're going to be childish about this. I liked your stuff and wadder.net, but a post like this just makes me think "why bother?" The reality is now matter how great you might think your program is, somebody else will do it in due time. It's your code and you have a right to do whatever you want with it, but don't come out here throwing a hissy fit because marcan doesn't like you.

First off, what do you mean 'god complex', and secondly, which 'devs'. Because if you mean me and AlexLH, you're wrong =p We're still working on things. And my blog is on a totally different server, so that didn't go down.

I must also be childish as well, I had to take a breather just to type because I was laughing pretty hard. (Still am on the inside) The funny thing is, I tried to explain why this was funny to the miss's, she looked at me like I was damn near retarded. So with that said, the wii scene is full of haters; noob haters, (USE THE DAMN SEARCH BUTTON!) Softmii haters, (THIEFS!) Team Twiizers haters (GOD COMPLEX!) hater haters (DAMN HATERS!) and then there's everyone else who hates you. I on the other hand know for a fact, that all of these "haters" use wadder no matter what they say, and because they save so much time using Wadder, they come and flame the maker. wadder broke all other wad-related programs on my computer...I use wadstudio and manual editing (which is boring and I suck at)...so I really don't use wadder.....but it doesn't have to work for me specifically to know it is a nice app, I like a lot of the wadder-made channels....and I am definitely a hater-hater.

As I see from the Efnet logs it's not that he doesn't like you, I guess you are not important enough that he could hate you but did/do things that are ennoying to him. Like PMing in the IRC instead of writing into the public chat, making "ugly hacks" with channels and the most important thing: distributing illegal channels.

On the contrary, I think, that releasing proper/clean/stable code to make this will only lead people to stop releasing "stupid" packages and scripts to build channels... no to say this would let us make LEGAL channel than can be distributed

If you think that 0C will go down just because the site is unnavailable for a while, you are more of an idiot than I thought. The server is currently being shipped out of the country, where we have more free reign. And as for this "Wii Revoultion" crap or whatever: you really need to get a life. Only guys with pizza boxes all around them sit around on the forums and in IRC all day, and try to spread gossip about it. There will be no "revolution" simply because one site is down.

As for this app, all this guy is doing is trying to get publicity, and make himself feel better. A modest person (not icefire) would just leave it be, especially if he wasn't even going to release it.

Also, as for this so-called coding skills that he has, I wouldn't touch his coding with a 20 meter pole. Simply because it sucks.

anyway, I'll release MyM when I get it working with proper error checking and recovery, and am 100% sure it is better. I am releasing it NOW to a bunch of testers (the more the better, but I want to know you first) so hopefully we can have a larger MyScript library when I release it.

MyMenu is a program, that when you run it, it gives you an option to select a .csm file (aka .health/000004x.app/etc) and a .mym MyScript file. MyScript files are standard ZIP files with at least one flie in it, mym.ini. That INI file instructs MyMenu how to unpack, edit, and repack the system menu to create a "custom" menu. When editing, the MyScript dictates if the images are replaced from a file _inside_ the MyScript (allowing for themes) or from a outside source (allowing for easy custom menus). MyScripts can also have multiple sections, to unpack, replace many images, then repack, all in one file. This means that themes can now be distributed as a simple .mym file instead of _illegal_ 0000004X.app files. In addition, you can apply a .mym file to the _same_ .csm file more than once, so you can mix and match different parts of themes.

I would post a screenshot, but my screenshot app doesn't like me ATM, so I hope Mrk will post a video later today (as he has tested it working).

Agreed marcan is quite weird. If he really hates piracy so much than why is he working on bootmii? That'll only lead to more piracy!

Look heres the deal. Marcan doesn't like icefire cause hes a narccistic douchebag, everyone else is because icefire claimed donations were not needed.

Icefire, may or may not be at fault for these things, but thats not something we should be worrying about. What Ice Fire needs to do is edit his first post and say that he's beta testing this new app that everyones going to love and he needs to make his own god damned IRC and figure out wii coding on his own.

Seriously, The only reason you (icefire) care so much about the IRC's is for wii info, yet they detest you. So why use their info if they are going to be so rude about it. Make your own and stop complaining.

I can't wait to see this app but if you pull a wadder 2.0 and bail cause marcan hurt your feelings again then that'll just be humiliating and catastrophic to your already tarnished reputation.
