Hi everyone, I recently had some issues with connecting my Wii to the internet. It happened yesterday when I tried logging in CTGP but it said that it couldn’t verify because of my connection. Then I went to the System Menu and did a normal connection test with the wifi that I was using. Turned out that it didn’t find the SSID and so I cleared the connection settings and tried to searching for the access point again but i couldn’t find it. However I fixed it by switching my router’s channels from auto to 1/11, but yet there’s another problem: after picking the right connection and entering the WPA2 password it gives me error code 51330. I searched on google and found that the issue is probably because Wii supports only two types of wireless (802.11 g and b), but my router only lets me use 802.11 n and i cant select the other ones. Could it be the real issue here? Or is there something else that I’m missing?

connect the wii to the net, as close as possible to your router (box).

if not if the wii is far from your router (box), it will not work properly.

The router is placed as close as possible to the console. I had no issues for like 7 years and recently got this problem and I still don’t know what to do
