Gaming My WD Portable HD is Acting Up

Hey Guys, I purchased a WD My Passport Essential SE 1TB a few weeks ago. I formatted the Drive to FAT32 for Homebrew+Games and the Drive has been working wonderfully.... until today. The Drive usually shows up as a removable disk "My Passport (*drive letter*) but now it is showing up as a "Local Disk (drive letter)" If I chose to click on the drive it says "this folder is empty" Even though the properties say that over 40GB has been used which is accurate. What must I do? I now have no access to my games and I am very upset. It just happened out of the blue!

Notes:

I have run a diagnostic tool to see if the Drive is physically damaged. result? "PASS"

I have used EASUS Partition manager to defrag the Drive. Nothing new.

Help?

Sounds like the partition got corrupted somehow. Try Recuva, and do a complete (slow) format before putting the games back on, this usually helps to map bad sectors of the HDD to avoid corruption later.

    Well, from what I've heard from my parents, he had a seizure last night, perhaps an epileptic episode, fucking died, had a near death experience, my dad called the paramedics, they showed up, took him to the hospital, and he woke up covered in tubes, and started complaining.
