Hi , i hacked my switch. The serial code was : xaw10048973662. All was good but when i make my switch normal again the serial code has changed : xkw50044904224.
Now i can't hack my switch. But how it is possible...i was think that the serial code can't change.

Were you successful in hacking your Switch the first time? If so, a simple change to the serial number will NOT change the hardware inside a V1 and magically rendering it unhackable.

If you were going off of the case and though you had a V1 and tried hacking it and we’re unable to and then discovered that the internal board was actually a V2 with an unhackable serial it would make a lot more sense. Check the serial number in Settings…that is your real Serial number. Periodt.

I recently had this happen. I purchased what I believed to be a v1 Switch because of the serial number that was on the case of the Switch. I purchased it from a reputable eBay seller that's known to sell "for parts, not working" Switch consoles as well as refurbished consoles. I bought two, one not working and one refurbished. Both were listed as v1 Switch consoles as per their serial numbers.

The non working one with a broken display was a v1. I confirmed this by sending an RCM payload and it worked fine. The case of the refurbished one claimed to be an unpatched v1, but I could not get a payload to load at all. So I booted it normally and looked at the serial number in Settings. They do not match and the actual serial is an unpatched Switch. So part of the refurbishing process was a case swap and I was not informed. I also did not ask.

So I bought a HWFly. It'll be my first install of one of these and it looks fairly interesting to do. I'm not as young as I used to be so my eyes arent the best and my hands aren't steady as they once were. But I think with some patience and my microscope, I can get this done. Just a waiting game for it to arrive from China.

did making it normal again involve you giving it to someone who exchanged the pcb instead?

Only thing I can think is when it was hacked, you were using emunand and it caused it to display the serial number from the emunand. That wouldn't explain why you can't hack it now though, the serial number might not be the cause.
