Hardware My Screen...

Alright...
So I'm looking at my laptops screen right now, and one side is more white. I'm not seeing things. I can't show it with a screenshot since its the monitor itself that is the problem, and cameras can't really get that white spot. Anyway, the white is on one edge of the screen with the lower left corner having the most white on it. I can tell because I just make a black picture in paint. It goes away after a while, but I can't help but wonder why it's doing what it's doing.

It's an HD LED LCD.

One thing I noticed, the whiteness appears when I leave my laptop on it's side for a long while. But I don't think LCDs are like that, are they?

LCDs are liquid. If there's a small leak, that would explain why its affected by leaving it on its side.

Sounds like a leak to me.

You might be able to send the computer back to the manufacturer to get the screen replaced. Is the laptop new? If so you could get a refund/a new one.
