ok. i got homebrew recently, and love it, but as much as i told my friend not to update since the october update, is it possible for him to still get homebrew? by the way i want him to have beta 8 of homebrew so he can use .elf's but i dot think he can with the new update so

is there any way to go back to 3.2 or be able to use all homebrew with the 3.3 update WITHOUT having homebre installed before

If they wanted, they could just convert any ELF file to DOL format, and they would then work. As far as downgrading goes, this thread explains how to do it...

yeah but i dont understand a single word of that tho and i have no idea how to convert elf to dol so plz help

To convert ELF to DOL, you can just use this program, which is very simple...

I'm not that familiar with the downgrading procedure, so maybe someone else could help with that.

is using pirated dwadss for wiiware and homebrew dangerous if you use wad installer/manager to install them on your 3.3 wii?

installing fake signed titles is dangerous on any wii, more so if your NOT CHIPPED etc.

yeah but i know where to get the BACKUPS that work and i find them for PAL or for USA ...even tho i could just use freethewads

but i know they work on 3.2

but could it brick wii on 3.3 since i dont want to brick his fkn wii!

Play backup with the 0.3 launcher wont brick you wii, if you mess around with IOS's you can get a big hardware failure, savemii wouldnt help with that.

But playing backups will be ok.
Installing fake signed titles e.g. VC Wiiware, custom channels, theres a possibility you will Brick your wii (banner) without a modchip etc youre pretty dammed! depeding on who you got wads off and where..... remember there are evil people out there..... down to you to find out

In simple basic terms -

.WAD files are dangerous and can brick your if not coded properly
.IOS files are dangerous and can brick your wii if not coded properly
Updating from a disc in another region is dangerous and WILL brick your wii

PLaying games means the wads are already installed or your using homebrew to boot and as such its safe , just dont update from any game.

Any files in my zips are safe and tested and others can confirm that on the site - most here have good decent files , but i cant vouch for anyone files outside this website.
