well i was thinking to myself, maybe the vwii app that sends you back to the wiiu menu could be decrypted and checked for possible ways to use the way it does what it does to gain access to the wiiu? has anyone tried anything like this? if so what were the results?

Nope, I think that's already been tried and that "app" just resets the whole console (which, naturally, leaves you back in Wii U mode.)
