well... my little brother accidentally drop my hard disk...then i plug in my laptop and it says installing software..then nothing happen ..blank ...and i forgot my hard disk name but its from acer and its model AH025..thanks for your help

If it says "installing software" endlessly, it probably means BIOS cannot identify the HDD, which is one of many ways a HDD can tell you it's dead. See if you can hear a clicking sound from it too.
