The first thing you need to know is that it is absolutely useless to post your Friend code. You can't register another user as a Friend unless you also enter someone else's Friend code at the same time. The 3DS has been out for ten years already; don't you think there would be a million other threads like this one otherwise?

The second thing you need to know is that it is useless to have extra Friends in your Friends list if they're not playing the same games that you're playing. For instance, if you are looking for people to trade with in Animal Crossing: New Leaf, then you should look for an Animal Crossing message board.
