Thanks guys.
Also my PSU doesn't come with a power cable, but I have an old one I found in a drawer that is the same size, labelled 10A 250v~ and to my understanding since it has 10A it will be able to run a 650w PSU.
But my question is, what are the risks of running it using an old cable?

If the cable is not damaged, minimal risk. Damage means resistance means heat or amperage drops.

My brother used a kettle power cable for his comp in university.
Thanks for that, just wanted to know if it would do anything extreme like burn out the psu, just being careful since this is my first build and all.

Ok I got it and built it all well, it even came with a power cable even though it said it doesn't.
But I have a problem, I'm using my TV as a monitor (1366x768) and it underscans when i set it to that resolution.
When i set it to the recommended, it 1360x768 it overscans and i'm running catalyst 12.8 on my gigabyte 7870 oc.
