Hi, I'm new here and I have a question. I use Wii u Usb helper to download games, i put them on the sd card and till here all goes good without problems, then i insert the sd card back at the Wii u and the games doesn't show up on WUP installer, i put the sd card back at the PC and the contents of the game's folder are gone, why does this happen? (it didn't do that before but now it does)

You must have your path wrong with an extra folder?

Wup files should be in their own folders with no special characters and placed inside your install folder like this....

Sdcard/install/your game name/ in here is where wup files are.

Make sure you don't have an extra folder in that path and your game name is just normal text letters.

I checked the path and no extra folders, "sdcard/install/game" and has no special characters

If you haven't already, remember to back up whatever you can/need obvs lol and guiformat is the best tool I believe.

If using usb helper, I'd also recommend to verify the files are complete by attempting to download them again and usb helper will simply check them out and dl any missing files at that point but also maybe worth looking at NUSplii or WiiUDownloader.

Unfortunately I couldn't save anything, since at the slightest attempt to copy something from the sd card the file explorer stopped responding, but hey, I managed to format the sd and I was able to reinstall the games (And of course, it has been fixed the thing about the files disappearing)

I would highly suggest to check your card with
Thanks for the help, i used the app you gave me, the sd is good an the problem is gone thanks to a reformat of the sd.

So if i may have another quick question, how do you put games that are over 4gb to the Wii U sd card? i don't seem to find a solution to it.

What are you trying to put on it? Wup files are split so they will go on even if over that size.

If it's for a wii game, wbfs is your option as the wii u doesn't read exfat iirc... I may be wrong there as I haven't touched that side in a long while.

thx, i'll try that later, right now i'm checking again the sd card because it gave me problems again

Sounds like you need a new card tbh.
Yeah, but i'm hoping i can make this one to work again like it used to, it's a 256gb sd card an i can't buy another one right now

Looks like a fake card. If you really need it you could just make the partion as small as the real size. Still would recommend to replace it and of course don't trust it with important data
