My D pad on my lite is worn out and the -> direction requires alot more strength to register a hit, the other directions are slowly failing as well. Im not going to pay nintendo like 80 dollars to fix it so where can i buy a relacement? (preferably good quality)

Also is this caused by the dpad itself or the rubber contacts? I found this http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.1466

Well you could try and open it up first and see if you see any problems with it. Maybe the buttons are off a bit.

well, i wouldnt go to conclusions yet, open the DS and see if you can posistion it so that it makes it easier for it to register (Put paper under the right arrow if its too deep in or too up in?)

I am pretty sure it is the conductive pad - the actual d-pad itself is solid plastic

It happened to me, and I found that the pad had completely ripped through!
