Gaming My connection is slow

My home internet connection is slow and everything takes a few minutes to load while at a local cyber cafe everything loads within a few seconds.Internet connection speeds differ according to location but my house and the cyber cafe isn't so far (I'll say less than 1Km).Does the internet connection speed have anything to do with the internet card ?Or does it have anything to do with sumthin else ?

ummm... It has a lot to do with your ISP. Might want to look into that.

Nothing, you pay different prices for different plans. Different plans have different limits and speeds.
It also depends on the distance from the exchange you are.

Exactly. You and the cybercafe could have different ISP's.

Nope we have tha same ISP's and pay for the same plans and the speed is 100.0Mbps.
I'm not sure if it could be the internet card hardware of the PC that might be slowing down the PC's internet connection.I changed the internet card once cause the previos one got struck by lightning.
