ROM Hack Music Hack help!

Hey, I need help for my music hack in NSMB ^.^
My problem is: I replaced the sbnk, swar and sseq from a song from nsmb with the dire dire docks theme (super mario 64 ds). All SHOULD sound like in SM64 DS. But now when I was playing, there were missing instruments.. Why?

Not all of the instruments that are in SM64DS are in NSMB. If you want all the instruments, you'll probably have to create the song from scratch.

Every time I've seen a music hack to NSMB, the music was created from scratch.. Even if the music was from an instrumentally similar game like Super Mario 64 DS. I'm not a hacking expert, so I'm only going on what I've seen, but it looks like it's really isn't enough to replace the files.
