Just to make sure it's not just my DSL, does depressing the A button feel different than depression the other B,X,Y buttons? On mine it feels like it's been heavily used and therefore a bit mushier.

ive noticed this before, not only with the DSL but with just about every handheld that ive owned. some buttons will always be used more than others, and get weaker sooner. Maybe youve been playing too much MK or NSMB

I'm speaking more of - by default - it's mushier

You tend to use the Y and B buttons a lot more than the A button in NSMB and yet those buttons along with X, feel significantly "tighter" (?) than the A button.

My guess is that if it's normal, Nintendo makes the tactile response of the A button different on purpose. As to why, not sure yet.
