Hacking Multi save slot support

In the latest official firmware release notes (v4.08) it mentions:

"Support multi save slot for one game."

I'm guessing it means multiple saves for games like what the Supercard has, or am I mistaken? Anyone knows about this and how to use it? Tried looking around with no avail.

On AKAIO you go the game, hit start, go to properties, go to rom info, then theres an option to select the save slot. I don't know if it's the same on the official fw.
