Hi I've got some questions about playing NTSC Games on a PAL N64 Console. I did some research regarding which adapter is the best to go with (compared Passport Plus III and Universal Games Adaptor v4) and decided to buy the universal games adaptor v4 from Blaze, which I read has the best compatibility. It also has almost every Key Code/Boot Code saved, so I don't need to look for them seperately. I know that I need a Boot Cartrige, meeting the region of my console. But now, here's where I need some help with: Most Websites and Passport Manual says Super Mario 64 is the most recommended Boot Cartrige because it has "no protection"/"Card Type 0". But Passport Manual also says, games with built-in memory may be facing the issue of data loss, when using it as boot cartrige. Unfortunately, SM64 has built-in memory, so I'd rather go with another cartrige. And about the protection: Out of my research I got the information that there exist CIC security chips and SM64 uses CIC-6102/CIC-7101, which most of the existing N64 titles have. It is considered as the standard chip. So doesn't that mean, it has protection? Or shouldn't then most N64 titles be declared as recommended because they use the standard CIC security chip? I'm a noob on this, so maybe I misunderstood something. So the questions I have are: -What exactly does no protection mean? -Is there another recommended cartrige like SM64 I could use instead (no protection & no built-in memory)? -Is the data loss issue maybe only a thing with Passport and could work on the universal games adaptor? Maybe there are many other games I can use as boot cartirge and I just think too much about it, because it says SM64 is most recommended. Not sure if there may be compatibility issues by using another title as boot cartrige? Unfortunately I don't know which games also have no protection. PS. I know there is everdrive which would be way easier to use, but I'd like to have cartriges :) I hope someone can help me here. Thanks in advance! But, if anyone is interested, it's possible to just use a boot cartrige with the same CIC as SM64 (CIC-6102/CIC-7101). The Japanese and PAL consoles look so much better. Even the controllers look better just by having colored buttons.

I'm not sure if this is the right forum to post this thread, so if it's not I'm sorry.
Anyway, with the coming of the new GC Backup Launcher by the amazing Wiigator, and Waninkoko, I would like to know if it's possible to create an multi iso of more than one multi iso, so for example I want to know if it's possible for me to burn the following onto one DVD and then access their respective menus:

Zelda Collector's Edition
Metroid 1 and 2
The SpongeBob SquarePants, Movie Game, Battle for Bikini Bottom and Revenge of the Flying Dutchman.

I'd just like to know so, that I can have like a sub-menu for my games, so that using the example above, it go something like this.
If I feel like Metroid I go to the "Metroid Menu" and then I select the game I want to play, i.e., Metroid1 or Metroid 2.

Well, not sure of size constraints but hypothetically speaking if all those games did fit. You cant catagorize them into sub catagories like you wanted.
