Hacking Multi-Disk ISO/Games. GC Backup Loader help.

I have a question about Multi-Disk ISO's working with Multi Disk games. Mainly Tales Of Symphonia for now. I read you can't put disk 1 of a game with Disk 2 on a Multi-Disk ISO but when you get so far into a game and it asks for Disk 2 do I just throw the Disk 2 ISO on a separate DVD-R with disk 2 being the only game on that DVD-R or can I run Disk 2 as a Multi game ISO? Any help would be appreciated. I can reword it if this doesn't make any sense.

Yes, you can put multi-disc games onto 1 disc.
I've done this with RE One (the remake of RE1 for Gamecube).

You can? ddetowski...can you tell me what happens if you reach the point where you have to switch from the first to the second disk?

Is it found automatically? Do you just eject and reinsert the same disk? Does the gamma loader screen pop up where you have to select the second part?


I'm just curious, that's all. I simply want to know how to tell my "gamecubish wii" which part of the multigame disk it has to load from within game.

Eject and reinsert the same disk.
Choose the 2nd disc from menu.
Thats all there is to it.

Figured it out. I just have to Highlight Disk 2 in GC Backup Loader 0.2 and press Z. When prompted to switch Disk I have to re-insert the game. This can be closed or deleted now.

i got to the point where i had to put in disk 2 but it didn't work when i ejected and put in back in, it just said checking disc and froze on that

Did you launch the first disc with B ? (It must be the B button, none other works)

ok um when i put the second disk of tales of symphonia in, it just said " put disc 2 in" or sumthing like that

gamecube loader xi and nstu everthing if that helps

At the gamecube loader screen press z on the second disc then highlight the first disc and press b.
