A pink box on msn has a message saying,You can still chat,but some features might not be available because of a connection problem...I've temp. disabled the firewall that didn't work,temp. disabled AVG still no go so not sure what the issue is,i'm running win XP professional SP2 with dial up...btw i'm running WLM version 2009 build 14.0.8117.416.

    @Maximumbeans, Indeed. I've been working on getting this Infecutus chip to work on my PS2. But after soldering, I realised that a plastic piece was missing from the power ribbon cable to the power and eject buttons.

    Now I could go with soldering the contacts from the cable to the connector on the mobo, but doesn't sound like a good permanent solution.

    @Maximumbeans, Maybe start practice soldering. Get a cheap-ass soldering iron and follow some good YouTube tutorials.

    Least my experience has gotten better than over a decade ago. My iron would constantly bump into components and break them.
