It's sad I have to answer my own topic and in such a way:

There are NO zombie games for the GBA

A few get close:

Castlevania series - there are zeds in some scenes
Doom - mainly demons, but some of the weakest enemies look zombie like
Wolfestein - level 2 is zombie based, too bad its such a bad port it's nearly unplayable. Oh, and the zeds have guns on their stomach, so no brain eating here.
House of the dead - Pinball game, so no.
Silent hill - a graphic novel, I cant read jap.

None of these actually show any desire for 'braaiinsss' though

However, there is a Resident Evil game for the GBC.

Wow! That was like so horrible (and almost unplayable on the original GBA, because it's so dark)! I bought it cheap (for 5 bucks or so) but it definitely wasn't worth a penny (but if you say 'crappiest' it may fit your needs

The shooting system is the worst aspect in my opinion. There is this marker thing that's moving from left to right and you just try to hit A (or was it B?) when it's directly on top of the coloured block that represents the Zombie (same goes for escaping from battles). Just look at the first screenshot on gamespot to get what I mean. =)

Pinball of the Dead was just plain brilliant. Probably not quite what you meant but what the hey.
