Hacking Mplayer CE on 4.2

Theres a known glitch with Mplayer that disallows it to work oin 4.2 system menus, has this glitch been fixed yet? Does anyone know how to get around it? Or better yet, does anyone know dvd-playing channels for Wii that are compatible with 4.2?

It works fine on every system menu, I don't know where you have heard that. MPlayer CE is replaced with WiiMC, take a look at it.

Never heard of any such glitch but yeah as was said check out Wiimc. It's a much nicer looking media player based off of Mplayer.
