Homebrew Mplayer CE freezes

Hi

I play videos over smb, but some times mplayer freezes. I have searched around the interwebz and it seems like its a problem with cios38 rev14, so i want to downgrade to an older version of cios38. How do i do that and which version should i choose?

I can assure you, 150%, without a doubt, nothing mplayer does, or doesnt do, has ANYTHING to do with rev14, or any other rev of waninkoko's 249.

mplayer's freezing is a common issue. Using it's cios 202 installer could help some, couldn't hurt, but you're wasting your time and energy with cios38rev14.

Ok i have installed the mplayer cios, so i'm hoping it will get fixed in an update.

Mine used to freeze fairly often, but I haven't had a single freeze whatsoever since updating to .75. Not sure if that will work for everyone, but installing .75 and IOS202 for USB2.0 worked like magic for me.

Also, I too can say without a doubt that your problem has absolutely nothing to do with cIOS38rev14.
