does anyone else get random code dumps when selecting USB files?
i get it everytime when i use it second time like when i start i select usb the the avi file and if i do again it gives me code dump... i uninstalled 202 earlier with anytime thingy then used hermes installer... but still same...

I have followed all of the instructions and installed DVDx via advanced install select Ciso 202 but whenever I try to run the application I get a DSI exception error.

What am I doing wrong?

Please help

Sounds like you don't have Wifi... open your SMB.conf and comment out everything. Worked for me when I had to move the Wii to a spot out of my Wifi range. Strangely, removing the smb.conf entirely did not help at all.

The new cIOS installer by Hermes doesn't seem to play the videos on my hard drive as smoothly as before. Or more correctly it seems to be out of sync with the audio.

I'm guessing that this cIOS isn't USB2 like the one by kwiirk?
But it serms that only this new cIOS will work with 0.61. Other cIOS cause a freeze when trying to read the hard drive.

Hmm, still doesnt seem to like my USB drive.
Its really frustrating that it doesn't. Geebox does.

What HDD formatting is recommended for MPlayer?
Would the MPlayer Cios 202 make any difference here?

Hmmm...maybe having the "live" examples in there is creating an issue?

*edit* It's probably been there a while, but can someone tell me what this is?

this setup works 100% with mplayer ce, ftpii and usb loader:

3 partitions:
1st: fat32 (used by mplayer ce and ftpii)
2nd: wbfs (used by usb loader)
3rd: ntfs (to store iso image for example)

BTW: all my respect goes out to the mplayer devs. the smb streaming kicks ass :-)

Not to mention the improvements with playing movie files and DVDs. It felt like it jumped 10 versions up in these aspects alone.

RIP GeeXboX
