Homebrew MPlayer CE 0.6 RELEASED!

CHANGELOG v0.6
==============
-No more maximum cache limit
-Introduced new variables into mplayer.conf to adjust screen size and position, please see mplayer.conf for details (component-fix is now deprecated) menu.conf has also been modified.
-idx/sub subtitle support (please note that these can take up to 30 seconds to load so please be patient)
-Multiple folder locations added, it is now possible to have the files in
sd:/apps/mplayer_ce - sd:/mplayer
usb:/apps/mplayer_ce - usb:/mplayer
-Added resume points - video will resume at last stopped point.
To clear, delete resume_points file in your mplayer_ce folder. To seek to the beginning of the video hold 2 and press the minus button.
-Added support for Hermes' cIOS. This has greater USB compatibility and enables USB LAN connector support. Please see wiki page for details
-Added Fribidi library support for right-to-left languages
-Made cache fill visible on screen
-Many small bug fixes
-Updated to latest MPlayer svn

Exactly the same here

Geexbox recognizes my partition, MPLayer didn't. Hopefully now it does.

Users with system menu 3.4 or higher will not be able to use USB2.0 with
MPlayerCE because the DVDx installer for 3.4 does not have an advanced mode.
Unfortunately there is nothing we can do about it.

So not so good for those who upgraded to 4.0!

what if we installed dvdx when on 3.2 then updated to 4.0? I read somewhere that is the only way to retain dvdx

You can install dvdx on 4.0 with the bootmii installer.

MPlayer CE 0.6 for some reason has HUGE font and code dumps when i select usb. Just switched back to .05 and it works fine

You need to install the new! USB 2.0 cIOS

I'm glad they updated because the DVD support in the 0.5 version wasn't that great, but in 0.6 it seems to be working a lot better!

The only problem is that it doesn't seem to support the old cIOS_USB2, which is kind of annoying since some apps only support that one and not Hermes' version. Ah well.
