I already posted this in the Official Mother 3 Translation Thread but that sometimes gets overlooked and this is very good news.
All of the Block 0 bugs in the project have been fixed. Here's what Mato has to say about Block 0 text: "There are 1000 blocks of text, each block corresponds with a map. Except Block 0, it corresponds to no map, it’s like the junk pile of non-standard text. It’s like 300 lines long and a lot of the text in this block is programmed separately from the main stuff. We’ve got most of it working now, but what stuff we DON’T have working now will kill your game, create Moonside, or start acting like a broken record."
Yeah, whatever that means. I'm just going to say that I am glad that it is now fixed. This means that there are only 3 things left on the to-do list.
1. "Fix the weird menu sprite text “morphing”. This may take a few weeks.
2. Testing and polishing. This will last for about a month. (note: testing will be done on various emulators and hardware, including various flash carts and things like the PSP, etc.)
3. Some tool-assisted testing. This should take a few days total."
Make sure to stop by the project blog and wish these fine men well. It won't be too long until we finally get to play Mother 3, only a few more months.
