I bought a used 3DS from Japan, knowing that it has a yellow tint, and thinking that I can fix it by replacing the screen. So I replaced the old lower screen, which showed a yellow tint on the left side of the display. After the replacement, the severity of the yellow tint is definitely reduced, but did not go away entirely. I'm now left thinking that the newly purchased screen also has a yellow tint - this would be a crazy coincidence because it is in the exact same area as the old screen. The other possibility is that there is another reason for the tint that is inherent to that 3DS. Anyone have any thoughts or experience on what's happening? (I can live with this new screen. Just curious if there's something else that's hardware related. I'm aware of Luma's software adjustment capability).
