On Moonshell I have found out that U can't play normal videos that U play on VLC Media Player or something. Is there some sort of converter that can convert normal videos into playing on Moonshell?
BTW I am using a DSLite.
I have had a Moonshell version for ages now, so can someone also give me link to a updated version for that.
I rarely look at forums so try and PM me if U can!
THANKS!

the Moonshell plays movies which are in DPG format ( it can play avi's , but its extremely buggy )
you can find the converter using google

and there are many sites where you can get movies in DPG format !

best converter to dpg be xilisoft and choose dpg3 option as using dvdfab can be out of sync with the voices
But the xilsoft is not free !
but there is a cracked version

There's several free convertors avaliable
- The one that I use is called 'SUPER ©' @ http://www.erightsoft.com/SUPER.html, however getting through all the pages to finally get to the download link is a right pain

However a DPG convertor is usually supplied WITH moonshell anyway & the latest (last!?!) version is avaliable here (You'll find the DPG encoder in the misctools / dpgtools folder)

remastering the source in virtualdub and then encoding with batch dpg gave me dvd-like quality dpgs for my ds. there are a few guides to encoding dpg on this site, just search for them. you can find dpg tools and batch dpg on filetrip.

-another world
