And please do direct me to this as I believe I'm talking about the same feature here. Moonshell has a menu that comes up after pressing start. There is a thing in that menu titled exit to menu or something like that (can't remember exact wording, but do know it is that last item at the bottom of said menu).
However you would need a NDS file of the flashcard menu that you are running Moonshell 2 on (would be located in the resetmse folder within the moonshell folder). As for me, I own a Supercard and unfortunately the NDS file for that does nothing but freeze when I try to use it as Moonshell's exit feature.
I know this topic is really old, but now that interest in Supercard SD is growing due to the custom firmwares, I want to share the way I did to make work the soft reset feature of Moonshell 2 on Supercard SD.
I took the reset.mse file from a setup of Moonshell 1.71 Supercard SD (SCSD_MOON) and renamed it as SCSD.nds. Then I just put the file on the "resetmse" folder of Moonshell 2.
It's working fine with Moonshell 2.10 stable. I have the SCSFW firmware v1.7, the flash device id of the cart is 000422B9 and I'm using a 32gb SDHC card.
