M3 promised on there website that Moonshel 2.0 was integrated on the M3I Zero and i wasn't.

=> -Intergraded least Moonshell 2.0 version

I have contacted them and they have said the following:

QUOTE said:
Sakura is based on Moonshell application. It is developed by the same team who developed Moonshell.
If you are running Sakura already there no need to install Moonshell again.
If you wish you may search for guides on the internet or perhaps the developer's website for installation details.

Mooshell 1.71 is the most stable version to run on our M3 Real and M3i Zero.

The M3i Zero does not include the Moonshell 2 application within the system package.
You may obtain the Moonshell application from the developer website and install it from there.
If you have Moonshell on the Microsd already you may launch it from MyCard.

M3 Sakura software isn't a solution... it has a old movieplayer.
You can't play DPG 3 and DPG 4 movies.

And now i get the following problem... i'm not able to get Moonshel 2.06 working on my M3i Zero (with my NDS Lite)

I get the following errors:

????????MoonShell2?????????????
???????????????????????????????????
???????????????????????????????????

?????????????????????????????
logbuf.txt??????????????????????

"NDS file version starting MoonShell2" and "Files of installed moonshl2 folder are diffrent"

Google translate for the Japanese language:
CODEÂÂÂÂ
This file is logged MoonShell2 behavior.
May not start by rewriting the disk protection mechanism directly.
No is welcome to attach this file when sending a bug report.

However, after confirming the operation is stable enough for this file is not required.
?Ki?Sanaku logbuf.txt will work to remove the logs.

Also no succes with the patched files:
moonshl2_DirectBoot_M3SD_ALT_M3 Adapter (SD Card).nds
moonshl2_DirectBoot_M3SD_M3 Adapter (SD Card).nds

I have used a SanDisk Micro SD with 8Gb
and also a GBA expansion pack, also without the same error.

I hope that someone can help me with this problem.

This line is probably the important one? "NDS file version starting MoonShell2" and "Files of installed moonshl2 folder are different". Possibly try reformatting a card, and try using completely fresh files (of course, just get all the moonshell 2 stuff straight from moonlight's website, just in case the files you are using are having the conflict that the line above says).

As for what the M3 team said, they are technically right. The Sakura system is based off of Moonshell2 (and obviously the Sakura system is stable). In other words, moonshell2 was "integrated" by using Sakura as the firmware. Only bad part is that the Sakura system won't get any updates with Moonshell 2 (I think there was something that Moonlight got angry at the M3 team for).

Have you tried formatting your SD card? I use an M3 real and if Moonshell stops working formatting my card always fixes it for me.

I have done a format with SDFormatter v2.0 ... problem stays.
Same errors when i want to use the Moonshell 2.0

Moonshell 2.0 is able to play DPG 3 & 4 files, M3 Sakura plays only DPG 1 & 2.

I have downloaded the Moonshell 2.06 from http://home.att.ne.jp/blue/moonlight/
I have used the setup and the LanguageSelect from the Moonshell folder and have putted all the files on my SD card.

- moonshl2 (folder)
- moonshl2.nds
- moonshl2_DirectBoot.nds
