So, does anyone here have as much interest in this as I do?

I use it on my Raspberry pi already, but having it running on my switch would be a whole new ballgame for me.

I am new here so can't post links but checkout the moonlight-embedded repo by irtimmer on github for the specifics.

Regards

I've no clue in what you've just said but since it's your first post, here take a like.

Moonlight Embedded
Moonlight Embedded is an open source implementation of NVIDIA's GameStream, as used by the NVIDIA Shield, but built for Linux.

Moonlight Embedded allows you to stream your full collection of games from your powerful Windows desktop to your (embedded) Linux system, like Raspberry Pi, CuBox-i and ODROID.

i achieved something similiar with jsmpegvnc but the performance are not the best. there is some delay (about 0.25sec) very little but is noticeable when playing certain types of game. moreover some frame drop here and there.
I made a video about it

I've been looking for this solution since I bought a switch, this is probably at the highest on my list of when full cfw comes in with Android coming in second place. I would be very grateful if someone can port this over to switch, I'll keep an eye out on this post.

how did you install jsmpeg-vnc?
Do you have a source for that?
I'm using Ubuntu on Switch (should be able to use the archlinux binaries, tho)

https://github.com/phoboslab/jsmpeg-vnc

just start this program on windows host and it will start streaming then open chromium on switch and put the right ipaddress:Port. I had to edit the index.html from jsmpegvnc to remove the scrollbar on left and make it fullscreen.
I will post my index.html later when i'm back home

EDIT: joycons are connected to PC

Oh nice! :D
How did you got the Joycons to work?

would love moonlight so much.

But not sure if it works well, because the switch has pretty bad WiFi-Connection most of the time

Made an account just to say this.

I'm seeing this countless times and no one has said it I'm amazed.

Moonlight works on switch, and from my personal experience just about flawlessly, you just need to compile moonlight-embedded yourself and it works straight off the bat, I can't believe people have been sitting here trying to get other things to work, just use moonlight xD

Can you enlighten us on how you achieved this? Perhaps maybe even a tutorial, I am intrigued with any information you have on this
