When i tried your save the monster daycare like wasnt upgraded and i fear i am stuck as i cant make the monstie daycare bigger but apart than that its a awesome save, thanks you so much for uploading it

You play on Steam or Switch aslo you Can usé mhst2 save tool for convert your pc save to Switch save or inverse

I tried copy and pasting the save file to the steam directory but it doesnt work, it tells me that my save file is corrupted and i need to delete save file. How do i solve this?

Because it save Switch not Steam you need convert first for Steam user .
