Given Capcom's MH tradition of splitting the JP servers from everyone else I was wondering, is there a way to change which servers you connect to?

I have DoubleCross on 3DS and it has crossplay with the Switch version, a friend of mine is getting Generations Ultimate so I'm thinking if I can connect to the US servers I could theoretically play with them?

I realize how unlikely it is, just wondering if anyone would know some way!
