Hacking Monster Hunter 4 DLC and Gateway

Hello all,

Just curious to know if anyone has been able to get the DLC for MH4 installed on their Gateway 3DS. I own a Japanese 3DS with MH4, but transferring the files from SD to SD doesn't work, due to how the 3DS install them, I think. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Only way I could think of off the top of my head would be to do a system transfer from the legit 3ds to the gateway 3ds. Of course, I don't know if it's feasible to do so with 3dses from different regions, assuming your gateway 3ds is a US model.

Yes it is a US model, and I agree, pretty sure it wouldn't work, but I could get it a shot. I'll see what happen when I try it out later tonight. Thank you!

System Transfer between two different region consoles will not work, as I thought. I guess we'll just have to wait longer on Gateway to come up with something in the future for this.
