Modify attacks/Pokemon in Pokemon SW/SH

Hi! I'll go straight to the point. I want to do two things:

-Modify Mimic so whatever it copies becomes permanent (like Sketch)
-Modify a pokemon's stats and stat growth so it imitates the stat growth of another pokemon (in this case smeargle)

Since he's not in SWSH I wanted to see if I could put something in that at least resembled it. Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

That isn't how mimic work, with Smeargle not in the game, the only way you can get Smeargle is messing with the game data by rom hacking.

Yes, that's the whole point of my question. I want to know if it's possible to modify the rom with the use of tools. I know tools exists already. I just want to know if what I am asking is possible with such tools.

You can add pokemon but you have to edit the game files, SciresM did that few years ago

As for move goes only Smeargle can legally get sketch, you can use pkhex to edit moveset but it would be illegal to take online.

Yes, I am aware Sketch is a smeargle only move. I don't want to hack the game to play online, only losers do that. I just want to place something smeargle-like in the game mechanically speaking for my own amusement. I don't care for the model. Any ol´pokemon would do. I just want to know if the move mimic could be modified to be permanent (like sketch) and that it has the same stats as a smeargle. It seems it's possible to at least modify the stats. So that's one question down.

Im afraid no, that how mimic work, it ain't permanent.

pknx you can adjust growth and base stats, learn sets ect. but you cant change what a move does. best option would be to pick a pokemon, edit its stats in pknx to that of smeargle then just give it the moves you would of learned using sketch to begin with.

Ah, that was my initial plan, thank you for your reply. Yeah I think I am going with that, just mimic stuff during battle and then edit it with pkhex afterwards.
