I cracked my Wii yonks ago.

How do I find out whats on it so I know how to upgrade further?

I am having trouble playing some games Monster hunter, Sam and Max and some others

just rehack it with this guide, it will overwrite anything you have.

Does usb loader gx launch at all? Does it launch without a memory card? If it doesn't launch without a memory card, that means you have a channel forwarder. Do you remember which wad you installed? You have any other channels?

Usb loader GX starts without SD card but the wii menu is shown again. If i put the SD card in the slot i get black screen and erros-wii freezes.
I have installed USB Loader GX-UNEO_Forwarder.wad (i think).
I have Opera internet channel and it works.

ok, if that is the channel you have installed.

Delete everything on your sd card.
Download and extract 43mod to your sd card.
Rename the boot.elf file in the root directory to boot.dol.
Cut and paste it into apps/usbloader_gx (you will need to make this directory).
Put the sd card in the wii, and launch the channel.
The hackmii installer should be running, follow the prompts to install the hbc.
Continue to the "Installing a Trucha'd IOS into slot 236." section, and finish the guide.

ok guys a little stuck here and wonder if anyone can help, Just installed softmod following the instructions in this post on a hardmodded with wiikey2 pal 3.4e wii, everything seems to have gone fine and im now upto 4.2e firmware, I havent yet installed any of the darkcorp mods yet but when i play a game through my disc channel all i get is black screen , have i missed somthing as i have hardmod chip so thought i would still be able to play games through disk channel without the need for the darkcorp mod? please help as my head is hurting from scrating it lol

I downloaded 4.3 mod.zip from the main page extracted all the files and put on my 4 gig sdhc card, it is the only card I have. I delete the trial stages in smash bros. and put in the card and I load up stage builder, but nothing happens can anyone help?

you are correct, DARKCORP is not needed if you have a modchip.
just keep all of your IOS's up to date, and you should be good!

your sdhc card is most likely the issue.
try finding a non sdhc card for the modding process.

What game are you trying to play? Depending on the game, it could be needed an ios that you don't have installed.

sdhc cards do not work, you must get a 2gb or less one.

Following these instructions, I was able to install Priiloader.

Sorry for not just telling you, but you have no idea how many times I have typed that out because people do not actually read the guide and assume they launch priiloader from the hbc

ok guys thanks for all the help managed to get it all working now, just did what you said and updated and patches all my ios with dop mii and all is working now cheers guys you should all get a gold medal for your efforts many mnay thanks.
